In Appearance you can customize your navigation and workspace experience. A growing number of options to customize field of view, show hidden edges and allow two-finger rotation.
To access Appearance, tap the orientation cube in the top right corner and select the option in the middle of the header.
Field of view
If you are used to an orthographic view, just set the scale to 0 degrees. If you want a perspective view, set it to 90 degrees, or anything between 0 and 90.
Showing hidden edges - Ghost mode
Ghost mode changes the transparency values of bodies and highlights the edges of them. This way you are able to see what's "inside" or "behind" certain bodies.
1. Let's say, you have a complex geometry and you need to understand if there are hidden edges
2. Go to Appearance.
3. Show hidden edges by switching the radio button to active. Now you can see the edges of bodies and what's inside / behind them.
Allow two-finger rotation
By default, two-finger rotation is disabled in 3D. If you want to rotate your view, while not moving the position of the camera, switch it on in Appearances.
