ℹ️ If you use the free version of Shapr3D, you can do 1 trial import in any CAD format, but in general, you won’t be able to import any files. If you’re subscribed to the Standard plan, you can only import images and STL, SHAPR, STEP, IGES, and DXF files. If you’re subscribed to the Business plan, you can import all supported formats.
You can import files into Shapr3D in these formats:

- DWG
- DXF
These DWG and DXF files should not contain any 3D data.

- IGES
- STL (for reference only)
- SHAPR
- SLDPRT
- SLDASM (including external references that are not stored in mesh files)

- 2D PDF (single or first page only)
- TIFF
- BMP

- GIF (not animated)
Make sure that your source file is not damaged or corrupt and your iPad has enough memory to process the import. The source model should fit the available design space in Shapr3D: 1 km³. In addition, your file should not include any sketches with polylines. Please be aware that when you import files from other software, there is a possibility that some lines and curves will not be accurately displayed in Shapr3D.
