You can adjust the unit of measurement in your design from Units.
Use what’s best for your project: millimeter, centimeter, meter, inch, or foot. You can specify whether your geometries’ degrees are written in fractional or decimal format (75°9’ or 75.15°), and even lock the grid size by switching on Lock Grid Size.
Once you set your preferences, everything in your project—including the dimensions and grid—is automatically converted to the specified unit.
If you select either foot or inch as your unit of measurement, then you need to further specify how you want your measurements to be written. Choose between decimal, fractional, or architectural formatting. For example, measurements in inches can be written as 5 ½“ or 5.5”, and measurements in feet can be written as 5’5” or 5.417’.
