Shapr3D supports the following file formats which are compatible with most major CAD software, and Apple’s AR ecosystem:
- DWG (sketches and 2D drawings)
- DXF (sketches and 2D drawings)
- X_T or X_B
- OBJ (with colors)
- SHAPR (the native file format of Shapr3D)
Use SHAPR to transfer models between different Shapr3D apps and projects.
ℹ️ If you use Shapr3D Basic, you can only export in low-quality STL and 3MF. If you’re subscribed to the Standard plan, you can export models in SHAPR, STEP, IGES, OBJ, USDZ, DXF (sketches only), SVG, and high-quality STL and 3MF formats, and export images. If you’re subscribed to the Business plan, you can export models in all supported formats, and export 2D drawings in PDF, DXF, or DWG format.
