How the AI chatbot works

Type your question into the chat window. The chatbot uses natural language processing to understand what you’re asking. -
Data Processing and Privacy Protection
Before your question is processed, it passes through a filtering system provided by Cohere AI. This step removes any personal data to protect your privacy. -
Searching for Answers
The filtered question is matched against our Help Center content. This content is maintained by our technical writing team and includes only publicly available articles. -
AI-Powered Answer Generation
The anonymized question is then sent to Anthropic’s AI model, Claude Sonnet. This model generates a helpful, human-like response based on the Help Center content.
Claude Sonnet is hosted on AWS and operates as an inference-only model, meaning it processes inputs without retaining information and cannot learn from your data. -
Response Delivery
The chatbot returns the AI-generated answer directly to your chat window. The entire process happens in seconds. -
Data Logging
Your original question and the final AI response are logged on our secure AWS servers for internal monitoring and improvement. These logs are anonymized and compliant with data protection standards. -
Rolling Knowledge Base
The chatbot always uses the most up-to-date version of the Shapr3D Help Center, so you’re getting answers based on the latest available features and information.
