Your actions in the app
Our app collects data from the series of actions — along with the date and time of the event — that occur while you're using the app.
Here's a breakdown of the specific user actions we collect:

Why do we collect this data? |
---|---|
|
We want to identify typical usage intervals and frequency, so we can communicate with you and give you tips in a timely manner. |
|
We want to quantify the value our app can generate for you. So, we need to see how much you rely on modeling tools, how many designs you create, how often you export and import designs (as part of a wider workflow) — these are all indicators of added value. |
|
This helps us deliver personalized, tailored tutorial materials to you. |
|
This data is the core metric that indicates the health of our business as a SaaS company. Note: If you opt out of data collection before you sign up, start a trial, or make purchases, that means we won't be able to forward this data to our analytics platforms, Amplitude and CleverTap. However, anonymous, subscription-related aggregated data is still available to app developers in Apple’s iTunes. Furthermore, we use AppFigures, an analytics service, to create detailed reports based on the aggregated iTunes data. |

Why do we collect this data? |
---|---|
|
We want to personalize our tutorials and messages during and after your trial period. Note: Even if you opt out of data collection before you sign up, this data will still be collected. Otherwise, we can’t send you onboarding emails. If you don’t want to receive emails from us, then you can click Unsubscribe in any of our emails. If you want to delete your account and user data, please submit a support ticket here. |
Actions preceding crashes
By default, the app continuously logs every in-app action while it’s running, without sending any data. If the app crashes and you relaunch it, it'll send Crashlytics a record of actions that happened before the crash — even if you opted out of sending usage data. This crash report does not include any information that can be used, in itself, to identify individual users. The collected data is essential for us to identify the root problem and fix the crash.
