Snapping guidelines are sketching help tools. The app automatically creates visual aids for you, so you can be precise on the fly.
Generally, you can snap to every line, arc and even intersections. There are a handful of extra snapping options that you can turn on/off by tapping on the Snapping option on the bottom right.
Edge and Point snaps
Snapping to points (in the case below an endpoint) is indicated by a purple circle. Snapping to edges is indicated by a purple cube.
Hovering as an indication
Snapping only works for connected sketches or if you indicate to the app, that you want to snap to another sketch. When modifying/creating a sketch just hover over the sketch you want to create a snapping relation with.
Different type of snaps
Just select a line, and you can immediately snap to its extension as well.
Guidelines for splines are indicating the local minimums and maximums of your splines. This helps you snap in relation on where your splines are.
Snapping to X-Y-Z axes
X-Y-Z are important during modeling so we made sure to indicate if you are snapping to them. The name of the axis will appear on top of you selection cube.
Midpoints - midsnap
Midpoints are telling you where is the middle of a line.
Sketch and face centers
Centers will be automatically created for simple geometry (rectangles, circles, triangles)
