ℹ️ This feature is only available to Shapr3D Pro users.
You can draft 2D drawings of your 3D models in the app, using any of these methods:
- Select Export > Usage > Drawing.
Then, select a 3D body in the design space and then Next. - Select a 3D body in the design space or Items manager and select Create Drawing in the adaptive menu.
- Select a 3D body in the Items manager and then New Drawing.
- Go to Add > Drawing. Select a 3D body in the design space and then Next.
Then, you can specify settings for your drawing sheet size (following either ISO or ANSI standards), sheet orientation (portrait or landscape), scale of view to sheet, and base views. If you turn on the Include Base Views switch, that means the front, left, top, and isometric views of your design will be projected onto the sheet by default.
Once you click Continue, a new drawing sheet will appear.
You can check and adjust your sheet preferences by selecting Drawing Preferences .
⚠️ Note: If you created a model in Shapr3D Beta, you won’t be able to create drawings from that model in the official Shapr3D app.
