Every sketch, face, and body you create in Shapr3D is built with precise parameters. . To view the exact measurements of objects in the models you create, use the Measurements mode.
To use the Measurements mode, follow these steps:
 Select Measurements. You will see the Measurements panel pop up.
 Select the objects of your model for which you want to view the exact measurements.
 View the measurement of the selected objects under Current Measurements in the Measurements panel.
For quick reference, select the object to see the selection information at the bottom of the screen. The selection information includes the measurement details of the selected object.
Depending on the type of object you select, you can view the following quantitative data:

Length of a line. If you select multiple lines, the sum is shown. 



Area of a face. If you select multiple faces, the sum is shown. 



The volume of a body. If you select multiple bodies, the sum is shown. 



The radius of an arc, circle, sphere, cone, or cylinder. 



The diameter of an arc, circle, sphere, cone, or cylinder. 



The angle between any two lines or two faces. If you select an arc, its central angle is shown. 



A perpendicular angle between two lines or two faces. 



The shortest distance between two lines, arcs, circles, nonparallel faces, or bodies. It can also be the shortest distance between any combination of two of the following: circle, arc, line, face, or body. 



The maximum distance between a line and an arc or a circle. 



The central distance between a center point or central axis and any of the following: line, arc, circle, parallel face, or body. Center points are calculated in the case of circles, cones, and spheres. In case of bodies, the distance from the center of gravity is calculated. 




The distance between two parallel items such as sketches, edges, and faces. Note that it is possible to calculate the distance between an edge and a parallel face. This also shows the radial difference of concentric arc, circles, sphere, and cylinders. 




The distance on the Xaxis between two lines, arcs, circles, nonparallel faces, or bodies. It can also be the distance between a combination of two of the following: circle, arc, line, face, and body. 





The distance on the Yaxis between two lines, arcs, circles, nonparallel faces, or bodies. It can also be the distance between a combination of two of the following: circle, arc, line, face, and body. 




The distance on the Zaxis between two lines, arcs, circles, nonparallel faces, or bodies. It can also be the distance between a combination of two of the following: circle, arc, line, face, and body.
