ℹ️ This tool is available to all users.
With the Loft tool, you can create complex objects by specifying cross-sections made from faces and profiles of closed sketches. These cross-sections control how your object will look.
Follow these steps to use the Loft tool.
Draw closed sketches on separate planes. Optionally, you can sketch guide curves that intersect every cross-section.
The first and last shapes mark the start and end of the 3D object.
Go to Tools > Loft.
- Select the cross-sections one by one. These cross-sections are automatically connected.
You can also select guide curves to customize the lofted body's shape.
- If you didn't select guide curves before, adjust the lofted body by moving control points on each cross-section.
💡Shortcut💡: If you select all cross-sections first (and optionally the guide curves), the menu is customized automatically. From this adaptive menu, you can select the Loft tool.
