Currently, you can export models in SHAPR, STEP, IGES, OBJ, X_T, STL, DWG (2D format), and DXF (2D format). The export capabilities of the app will be further enhanced in future updates.
To use your Shapr3D projects in other CAD software, follow these steps:
- Select the three dots at the top right corner.
- Select Export.
The Save As dialog will appear.
- Edit the file name and location if necessary.
- Select the file type for the export.
- Click Save.
Note: As of now, if you export a model in STL format, the default unit will be millimeter, angular deflection will be set to 0.08, and the deflection will be set to 0.025.
Also, if you export in DWG or DXF format, only sketches located in the Top plane will be exported.
