26.200 – SVG Import, Sketch Fillet, and Workflow Improvements

Bring more of your existing designs into Shapr3D and explore new ways to refine your models. This release introduces SVG import and a dedicated Sketch Fillet tool, along with improvements to tool interactions, modeling workflows, and Visualization:

SVG Import

You can now import Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) directly into Shapr3D:

  • Vector Path Support – Import 2D vector shapes, logos, and intricate curves straight into your sketch planes.
  • Parametric Ready – Use imported paths as standard sketch profiles to extrude, revolve, loft, or sweep into 3D geometry.

Dedicated Sketch Fillet tool

Refine your 2D sketches before creating 3D bodies with the new Sketch Fillet tool:

  • Rounded Corners – Create smooth transitions directly between connected sketch lines and arcs.
  • Automatic Constraints – Apply fillets across multiple corners with automatic equal radius constraints to keep your profiles balanced and fully editable.

Modeling and workflow enhancements

Several tools and interface elements have been updated for a smoother modeling experience:

  • Direct Extrude 'To Object' Control – Adjust the Extrude tool's To Object parameter directly in the modeling space by dragging the arrow onto your target body.
  • Boolean Preview & Pattern Support – Enjoy clearer visual previews during Boolean operations to see exactly how material joins, cuts, or intersects. Boolean options are also now accessible directly within the Pattern tool.
  • Contextual Tool Selection – Shapr3D now automatically suggests and activates the appropriate 2D sketch or 3D modeling tool based on your current selection.
  • Refined Interface Feedback – Tool mode changes are now more visually distinct so you always know which state is active. On iPadOS, parameter cards dock more consistently alongside the sidebar to free up your canvas.
  • Search & Visualization – Command Search provides more accurate matching when using Pinyin. In Visualization, the default environment features richer detail, with the previous environment still accessible at the end of the list.
