Take on more complex surface modeling workflows with greater control over shape and continuity using the new Fill tool, now in beta:
Introducing Fill Tool (Beta)
The Fill tool is now available in beta, introducing advanced surface modeling capabilities to Shapr3D:
- Complex Surface Creation – Generate smooth solid geometry across irregular gaps, multi-sided openings, and curved transitions.
- Flexible Inputs – Define your geometry using boundary profiles, guide curves, or connected curve networks.
- Continuity Control – Adjust continuity settings (G0, G1, and G2) using on-screen badges to control how seamlessly surfaces blend into surrounding faces.
- Fully Parametric – Integrated with History, keeping your surface steps completely editable at any stage of your design.

Auto-Boolean capabilities in Sweep and Loft
You can now perform Boolean operations directly within the Sweep and Loft tools:
- Direct In-Tool Actions – Choose Union, Subtract, or Intersect via the Boolean badge during tool execution.
- Streamlined Modeling – Eliminate additional post-processing steps by combining or cutting geometry instantly as you sweep or loft.
