The Immersive View on Vision Pro enhances your ability to work with 3D models in Shapr3D. Move through your designs with greater control and precision as you interact with them in a fully immersive environment.
Access Immersive View
To start using the Immersive View, follow these steps to place your model within the Vision Pro environment:
- Open Shapr3D on Vision Pro.
- From the Dashboard, open the model you want to work on.
- From the top ornament, select the Pin icon beside Not Shared.
- Follow the prompt instructions to place the model on a surface.
Navigating Immersive View
Once the model appears on a surface, you can move around and explore the model using Vision Pro’s intuitive controls and gestures.
- Moving around: Walk, look around, or use hand gestures to view the model from different perspectives.
- Zooming in and zooming out: Pinch and hold your thumb and index finger together for both hands to zoom in or out, or physically move closer to the model to examine finer details.
- Rotating models: Pinch and hold your thumb and index finger together on either hand and move in a circular motion to rotate the models.

Visualization: Add materials to your model in the Visualization space within Shapr3D, and any changes will instantly reflect on the immersive model.
Utilizing tools in Immersive View
The Immersive View supports various editing options, depending on your connected devices.
- Editing with full access: Connect a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse/trackpad to access full editing features in Shapr3D. All updates will automatically appear in real-time on the immersive model.
- Limited editing: Without a keyboard and mouse/trackpad, you can still use the Visualization tools in Shapr3D, and any changes will display instantly on the immersive model.
Note: You may need to allow Shapr3D access to your photo library to import models or verify your EDU license.
