Immersive View settings

In Shapr3D on Vision Pro, you can access settings for both individual and collaborative sessions to customize how models behave and control user interactions within the Immersive View.

Before you begin

To access the Immersive View settings, make sure you are in the Immersive View.

Access settings

When you open the Immersive View settings, the options displayed will depend on your session type—whether you’re in an individual or collaborative session.

To open the Immersive View settings:

  1. From the top ornament, select Not Shared.
  2. Select Open Collaboration Settings.

Individual session settings

In an individual session, you can modify the following settings:

  • Model Lock: Toggle to lock or unlock the model’s placement, size, and orientation.
  • Free Rotation: Toggle to turn on or turn off free rotation around the X, Y, and Z axes.

Collaboration session settings

In a collaborative session, you can find a Guests tab for managing guests and a Settings tab to manage collaborative settings.

Go to the Settings tab to modify the following settings:

  • Model Lock: Toggle to lock or unlock the model’s placement, size, and orientation.
  • Free Rotation: Toggle to turn on or turn off free rotation around the X, Y, and Z axes.
  • Occlusion Mode: Controls how the model interacts with the 3D environment for a realistic sense of depth.
  • Use Visualization environment: Select an environment in Visualization as a light source and reflection in the Immersive Space.
  • Placement Method: Pinch to place manually where you want, or use image center for model placement.
