Discover new ways to streamline your workflow with saved orientation views, improved extrusion control, and enhanced sketch constraints:
- New: Save orientation views
- New: Extrude tool with start and end offsets
- Improved: Anchor sketch entities for constraints
Save orientation views
Now you can save up to 8 orientation views of your modeling space, making it easier to return to specific perspectives during your design process.
To save an orientation view, select to navigate to the Views tab > hover over any of the available views > select Save.
To learn more, visit Views and Appearance.
Extrude tool with start and end offsets
The Extrude tool now supports start and end offsets for better control over extrusion depth.
To apply start and end offsets, open History and expand the card for the Extrusion step where you want to adjust the offset values.
To learn more, visit Extrude.
Anchor sketch entities for constraints
Now you can specify whether the first or last selected sketch entity stays in place when applying constraints, making it easier to control which part of your sketch moves or stays fixed.
To anchor sketch entities, go to Constraint Settings > Anchored Sketch Entity > choose your preferred option.
To learn more, visit Constraint Settings.
