Display Modes
X-Ray display mode
The new X-Ray option inside the Display Modes menu lets you see through solid objects to inspect internal parts, shapes, or hollow chambers. Unlike standard wireframe views, this option keeps the overall silhouette of your external surfaces faintly visible so you do not lose track of the outer design. An adjustable Opacity slider gives you control over the level of transparency, which helps you verify fit, check alignments, and ensure interior components are correctly positioned inside the outer shell.
Decals update in Visualization
Seamless decal wrapping across faces
A new Face Chaining toggle allows labels, stickers, and logos to automatically flow over sharp or smooth transitions onto adjacent surfaces. Instead of clipping or breaking when a graphic reaches a corner or a different face, the design wraps continuously from one plane to the next, which is ideal for applying curved product markings or complex branding across multipart geometry.
Expanded file format support for decals
Decals are now integrated into standard physically-based rendering (PBR) workflows and USD file exports. This background preservation ensures that custom graphics stay embedded in the model when sharing assets through your Published Versions links, protecting visual information when collaborating with other creators or showcasing designs on external platforms.
Section View plane clipping for decals
A visual rendering issue has been fixed so that decals are now cropped cleanly when passing through a Section View cut plane. Graphics no longer stay floating in the active modeling window after their underlying surfaces are cut away, maintaining clean visuals during internal inspection.
Construction Tools
Consolidated Construct menu
The Construction Plane and Construction Axis features have been moved out of the general Add menu into a dedicated Construct location. The interface now dynamically monitors what you select and automatically presents the best layout strategies or plane reference types directly on the screen, minimizing searching and making it simpler for beginners to generate clean drawing references.
Highly precise construction plane snapping
Aligning construction geometry is now more predictable with distinctive purple highlight points that appear when setting reference positions. These clear indicators show exactly where the tool is locking on vertices or central axes, allowing you to establish new sketch planes with absolute alignment and precision.
