Add realistic material finishes, manage overlapping decals more efficiently, and quickly reference geometries on imported meshes:
- New: Expanded Visualization materials
- Improved: Overlapping decal management
- Fixed: Construction plane generation on STL meshes
New material options in Visualization
Visualization now features a wider selection of surface finishes to bring more realism to architectural and interior scenes. New material additions include brick, Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF), oak strip, herringbone flooring, and Douglas fir end-grain. These textures allow you to mimic authentic construction and flooring materials accurately during client reviews and rendering sessions.
Overlapping decal management
Dragging and dropping a decal onto your model now places a new copy instead of replacing the surface material. This change allows you to select and adjust each decal directly on your model, making it much easier to position and manage overlapping graphics on a single surface.
Construction plane generation on STL meshes
Construction planes and axes can now be created successfully on imported STL mesh data. When using point-based construction tools, you can select anywhere on the mesh body to pick a point and define your reference geometry directly on the non-parametric model.
