Boost your design efficiency with the latest updates to Fillets, Constraints, and USDZ exports:
- Improved: Chordal fillets
- Improved: Constrain sketches to world axes
- Fixed: USDZ exports retain material quality
Chordal fillets
The Fillet tool now supports chordal fillets, giving you more control over edge transitions by defining the fillet through the distance between its endpoints.
Chord width, or chord, is the straight-line distance between two points on a curve, such as a circle or arc. To learn more, visit Chamfer/Fillet.
To apply a chordal fillet, select the Fillet step under History. From the Size Type drop-down, choose Chord Width.
Constrain sketches to world axes
Now you can directly constrain sketches to the world axes and origin for enhanced precision.
To constrain a sketch to the world axes or origin, simply select the sketch item(s) you want to constrain and any of the world axes or origin. From the Constraints menu, select the appropriate constraint.
USDZ exports retain material quality
USDZ exports now retain material quality when imported into Blender, preventing them from appearing washed out.
