Transmission and IOR sliders in Visualization
You now have more control over how light interacts with refractive materials in Visualization. Use the new Transmission and IOR (Index of Refraction) sliders to fine-tune how transparent materials behave—ideal for simulating glass, water, and other light-bending surfaces.
Transmission
The Transmission slider controls the level of transparency in refractive materials. Adjust it to simulate clear glass or lightly frosted surfaces depending on how much light you want to pass through.
IOR (Index of Refraction)
The IOR slider adjusts how much light bends as it passes through a material. Use it to control how distorted the geometry behind the transparent object appears—higher values create more dramatic light bending.
Select from overlapping items
Easily choose specific sketch elements, edges, or faces from a pop-up list when multiple elements overlap. The list shows all available options so you can select the exact item you need.
Select Through mode
The new Select Through mode lets you reach internal geometry without hiding or adjusting other parts. Use a keyboard shortcut or right-click to quickly switch into Select Through for faster edits in complex projects.
