General workflow
Exporting to a slicer follows the same general steps across all supported integrations.
- Open the Export menu and choose the 3D Print category to display the available slicer integrations.
- Select your slicer.
- Your model is transferred and opened automatically in the slicer.
- Set up your print settings, supports, and slicing parameters directly in the slicer.
Before you export
Review the following before sending your model to a slicer.
- Your model is complete and ready to print. Any changes made after exporting will require a new export.
- All bodies are in the correct position and orientation. What you see in Shapr3D is what gets sent to the slicer, including scale and placement.
