Perpendicular

Perpendicular lines have a right angle (90°) between them. You can use the Perpendicular icon-constraint-perpendicular.png constraint between sketch elements.

To create a Perpendicular constraint:

  1. Select two lines.
  2. From the constraints menu, select Perpendicular.

Tip

Lines do not need to share a common point or intersect with each other to be made perpendicular. Guide curves are shown to indicate a perpendicularity between disconnected lines.
